This is a painting by Khalil Younis. He’s an artist from Mosul, who has taken part in many international exhibitions. He gave me 6 paintings as present. I have lost 2 of them. This was given to me in 1988 and it reminds me of many things we used to do in Mosul – The jars are all for different uses, like pickles, storing peppers, and ghee.
